Do you have any previous staff experience? If so, please explain it in detail: Yes, I was staff member for 8 months on OPBlocks, in which I mainly played prisons but played Skyblock and Survival when they were released, I often also had to jump from each server if there was a situation where a staff member was needed.
The server had around 150 players on average during the time, but typically peaked to around 300-400 during releases and promotion periods from YouTubers.
I was promoted to Moderator and was an Events Host, which meant that every Thursday
through to Sunday I’d host a variety of events, collaborating with other event hosts for around an hour. In this role I also helped with creating new events and discussing creative ideas. The events typically peaked like 20 people.
I also created 100 questions to train new staff who joined the team, consisting of multiple different scenarios any staff member may find themself in from spamming to duping.
Another role I had was being the manager of the TikTok account, which has amassed over 10m views and increased the player engagement.
Why do you want to become a staff member on AkumaMC?: I dedicate a lot of time to this server in my time of playing, although I’m not the most talkative in chat, I do enjoy the conversations that occur and the vast majority of the community., and most importantly the gameplay, I thoroughly enjoy the grinding on this game. I also really miss the atmosphere of being a staff member that I previously had, and I’d love to take a different approach to it this time.
Why should we accept you over other applicants on the network?: Although I assume many other applicants have previous staffing experience, I feel that gives me an edge over multiple other applicants. Although my time zone is BST typically I can be on to cover a multitude of time zones, which is advantageous during both on and off peak hours.
I also work in retail, which means that I’m put into many situations that build people skills and character, this can be relevantly applied to the server and my potential role I will have. I also consider myself good at multitasking, and that I am capable of handling multiple situations at once, which I believe is a key factor in the fast paced environment that the server is in.
How much time are you willing to dedicate to the server on a daily/weekly basis?: I’m on daily, after and before work and school, which can typically be for 2-6h of me being active. And then on weekends that can be doubled.
Is there any additional information you wish to add?: I have a clean record of (genuine) punishments on any servers I have been on, meaning no punishments. I also consider myself to know a fair bit about the current features of prisons, however there can always be more to learn which I’m very excited to do.
